BS title claims is a signal you don't have any intellectual contribution to make, and probably shouldn't be allowed near a codebase with those black and white "opinions".

A higher up wrote off a potential coder for blowing off typescript.<p>TS is really amazing to have, but holy crud it&#x27;s by far the biggest hurdle you can make for yourself. Lint is already a lot of no fun debating versus the computer, 90% not really valuable to me. Arguing with TS to do something valid is a miserable time hole.<p>And then there&#x27;s how much pain suffering &amp; woe one takes on for having to maintain the build toolchain.<p>I&#x27;m still pro TS but it took a while to not detest every minute of using it. I still see &amp; understand. And honestly good tests make the &quot;code quality&quot; concern feel not so true to me.
