Nice, I&#x27;ve been using spek for non-realtime recording checks.<p>Ffmpeg&#x27;s multimedia filters can go a long way for visual feedback on live audio. I&#x27;ve been usingffmpeg CLI commands that record audio&#x2F;video while also displaying a preview with audio overlay for monitoring.

I&#x27;ve only really used audacity for any sort of audio work before.<p>Is there a short list of the differences between this tool and audacity. Like when would I want to use this tool over importing the audio into audacity.<p>Genuinely curious, bit of a noob when it comes to audio analysis.
