OP: I don't sell digital courses, have a podcast, or influence much of anyone, according to my kids. I just love small business (well, business in general). There are certain people, processes, and tools that work well for SMBs that don't in the enterprise. And enterprise stuff rarely work in SMBs.<p>This all started with a friend of the family who asked for advice on payroll systems (love Gusto) and then a few months later, this was written. Most of it is based on the tons of mistakes I've made so hopefully, this helps a few people with filtering through to what has worked. For us, at least.<p>It will be regularly updated so feedback is appreciated as I'd love to add the wisdom of others. Thanks!
