It just is. True, there are cycles and rhythms but that's not the universe telling anyone anything. That's the universe doing it's thing(s). We can join its chorus, or struggle to sing our own tune.<p>That said, what does happen is, we filter and interpret. For the creative (per Rick Rubin), the key is <i>not</i> to filter too much, as well as always challenge the filters you do have.<p>You can't *know* the universe. The best you can do is relentlessly try to understand it.<p>It's not about knowledge because...Understanding in power.
