Tell HN: DoorDash does not refund fees or tip

If part of your order does not arrive, support will continually push you to take a refund and suggest that you can apply it on a re-order yourself. However, do not accept that. If you pay close attention, that refund total does not take into account any of their fees or the tip that you placed on the original order! If you refuse, they will keep telling you that they are unable to put in the re-order for you. If you refuse for long enough (over 15 min), then they will suddenly be able to put in the re-order at no cost. But they won’t expedite it. If you look over that new order receipt, you’ll see that it comes in below the offered refund and they don’t tip whoever is assigned your order.
