Presumably they don't have any UX expertise left. Absolutely ridiculous.

Weird: tried posting this link to Threads and it said "link not allowed" they're blocking links now?

What could be the reason for this? Is it a bug? I'm all for less clickbaity titles, but having no title is vague too.

So...<p><pre><code> if (userAgentIsTwitterPreviewBot() &amp;&amp; weCareAboutTheShitFlingingIdiotsDyingPlatform()) { return previewImageWithBurnedInCaption(); } </code></pre> It might not even need code, just some extra HTML: <a href="https:&#x2F;&#x2F;stackoverflow.com&#x2F;questions&#x2F;44525446&#x2F;image-social-meta-tags-property-ogimage-name-twitterimage-itemprop-imag" rel="nofollow noreferrer">https:&#x2F;&#x2F;stackoverflow.com&#x2F;questions&#x2F;44525446&#x2F;image-social-me...</a>
