Show HN: Terminal emulator and multiplexer through browser tabs

3 pointsby matvoreover 1 year ago
I was cajoled into using chromeOS at work, so I created proper terminal emulator for it: werm
TL;DR: Screenshots at https://github.com/google/werm/wiki/Screenshots
It connects remotely or locally from Chromium-based browsers, with all the features I have when working on macOS and Linux terminal emulators. It also supports input macros and integrates elegantly with browser and window manager navigation, unlike traditional multiplexers like tmux and screen.
This is worth using on other OS's too, thanks to that integration and other unique features. I use werm exclusively as my terminal emulator for work and home.
