About you: You're hungry, willing to sell and do whatever possible to help Aisle50 chisel itself into the incredible wall of fame that is the digital coupon world. You will be famous.
We've been nominated for just about every award known to man, including, yes, the Nobel (physics). We've already booked our tickets to Stockholm for the award ceremony.
The right person can be on that stage with us, drinking in the revelry that comes with world-class particle acceleration and, yes, grocery deals.
What we do when not in the physics lab making like Francis Wheeler Loomis: We are disrupting the way grocery manufacturers’ market their brands. We sell grocery items at a discount, on our site, and then load them to customers' loyalty cards. We give food manufacturers the ability to target, track and follow up on their deals. In short, the business of marketing food is a big one ($35b+) and we do it better than anybody else.
We launched in August. We have landed deals with a dozen major food companies, including General Mills, Kellogg's, Conagra, Unilever, Pepsico and Starbucks. We need to add to this deal funnel and you will be a big part of that.
You will be one of the first 10 employees at Aisle50 and will be offered a competitive salary along with serious equity and a full slate of benefits including health insurance and a 401k. We have a Killerspin ping pong table and an employee who can beat you on one leg. For the ping pong spectators, we stock the finest beer in Chicago.
The job is in Chicago. We don't care what your degree is in -- we just want people interested in startups and building a company that, as we mentioned, can get us in that grocery hall of fame. New college graduates (2011 and 2012) are welcome to apply.
You will be expected to travel, sell, call, run, jump and blast through walls. This is what startups do.
Reach out to us with your resume and a short (two sentence) pitch at gaussian@aisle50.com
