The problem i have with anything like this is, it is another layer to whom i am giving my data.
I have a relationship with chatGPT like i do with google (search) - the questions that are in there, yes could build a picture of me - i don't want any risk of that being filtered off somewhere else.
I open the link, "ok, this doesn't seem to be for me", I can't back out of the page because the back button doesn't work and forcibly keeps me on the page, I roll my eyes and close the tab - the entire project is forever dead to me.
Really nice and polished. I was hopeful (but not expectant), that it would use the chatgpt internal API's rather than using the public API as the flat-cost for ChatGPT of $20 can easily give significant cost savings when used heavily, but I am certain this approach is both against their ToS and actively blocked. Still, I really like it!
The irony of the Community chat being on Discord rather than Slack isn't lost on me, why did you pick Discord over Slack?
I've used about $70 of GPT4 API this month for coding help and chatting, and tried a ton of different self-hosted UIs which I feel like all are lacking and usually end development quite soon after beginning. That being said, this looks really great and more like something I've been looking for. I'll give it a try, but it has to be really good to overcome the negative of not having a possibility for self-hosting.
I was little lost there for a moment, I didn't add a project but went straight into settings, which brought up an empty page (with navigation though) with apparently nowhere to go. Only after logging in again and adding a project made it work, so it was little confusing and maybe it should steer you to right direction if you end up on that empty settings page.
Why does it say it’s by “magicspace” for Switzerland, but then the domain is in the UAE?
I’ll give you exactly 0 access to both my google and ChatGPT account
