A static website generator for Git repos

I love the little rat mage!<p>But talking about the tool itself, great idea! How I&#x27;m understanding it, this generates the equivalent to the homepage of a github repo. Well scoped, and I can imagine a few use cases for little tools here.<p>It would be interesting to see this geared towards a content-focused static site generator, where things like last modified time, author(s), and previous versions of a blog post could be generated out of the git history. You could also handle perma link changes as well, but I&#x27;m not sure how clearly Git itself keeps track of a file-move operation.
