How big is science's fake-paper problem?

Not big. Important papers get reproduced anyway in order to be extended&#x2F;enhanced&#x2F;build upon&#x2F;benchmarked against.<p>Nobody cares about the unimportant ones. And if they do they will reproduce them to expand on them.
