We learned this story/fable when I was in primary school, and brought it to life in an interactive fashion. We had all brought something to contribute beforehand. It was a bit like a ritual, actually, because first the water was boiled with the stone(s) in it, then we added our ingredients, took the stones out, and then we all had soup for lunch!<p>I think we were too young, because it wasn't until much later in life I heard the story again, and realized the fuller meaning of what we had re-enacted. At least the experience had stuck with me all this time, because it was all so curious.
