Dogs are wonderful.
Dog owners are a menace to society.
No exaggeration. Living in a city all the poop and urine just…hanging about. In the winter time with the snow, all the aged crap sitting out there, for months!, is thoroughly disgusting. All because of laziness or negligence.
And you could say, well that’s just a fraction. So let’s add to that fraction by pointing to the other problems of laziness, negligence, and (imo) abuse:
- Owners have their dogs in lockdown, what, 22 out of 24 hours a day? (On a good day.) Feeding them the same food day in and day out. Whenever the animal goes outside to pee or poop they’re leashed and collared. That right there is a prison sentence.
- Owners that provide no discipline, training, and, worst of all, no purpose.
- Owners that get a specialty breed (for example a pointer or a spaniel) and hunt and work them none. (What a crime).
- Owners who have got down on all fours and played with their dog are few and far between.
You may say “how does poorly treating dogs result in being labeled as a menace to society?” I would say that so commonly dis-valuing such a great animal lowers the acceptable level of ethics and principles in a society. And all the urine and fecal soaked parks.
(Clearly, my writing style is not the best).
