Don't worry, Google pays half the Microsoft programmers in return. Actually, they could be a single cohort rotating between the two. Both Google and Bing search engines suck, and neither company has been bald to maintain a product vision for more than Fifteen months.

Hmm. Maybe the guys who wind up cancelling everything at Google are all Microsoft plants?

Sometimes it seems plausible given the lame design decisions that occur.<p>It would be easy to detect such anomalies by looking at employees with previous experience with Microsoft and then look at their track record.

If you were capable of getting hired by Google… why would you open yourself up to so much legal liability?

Why would M$ pay for what it gets for free?

It&#x27;s an emergent behavior - internal Google politics and rewards are structured to strongly encourage even otherwise competent people to enshitify.
