It depends on the type of job, of course, but at least in my profession I don't know two workers who are equal- in the sense of equal skills, equal commitment, equal working hours, etc. (However I do know of huge pay disparities that are definitely not connected to anything but luck or willingness to look for other opportunities.)<p>So I am pretty skeptical of any measured "pay gap"- how is it measured practically?
