We don't need a "much-needed letter to car manufacturers". We need laws and regulations which uphold privacy for the human right and dignity everyone deserves. Everything else is political theatre only.
It saddens me that we have gone so far into this age of extreme surveillance from things such as cars, without having anybody substantially asking these questions. But certainly, better late than never!
