> Chaos Communication Congress tickets still available
Why, though? I mean the congress was sold out very quickly in the years before and now there are still tickets? I find this... unusual. Did I miss something?
CCC has been taken over by sly narcissists that abuse and take over relevant discussions and previously useful mechanisms to forcefully drive away anyone that “opposes“ their violent perspective and actions. (CoC, awareness, neurodiversity, gender, etc -- all on their own very good topics and mechanisms, but now damaged almost beyond repair)
No wonder people are staying away. It is a highly toxic environment. Be careful.
If you watch the latest documentary through that lens, you will see it. It's in the open, for anyone to see who wants to see it. (Alles ist Eins. Ausser die Null.)
Posting this anonymously out of fear for my professional and personal life. I have seen enough people whose reputation was permanently destroyed and who lost almost everything (some even their sanity due to professional gaslighting) simply for stating their opinion and for pointing out the violence.
Quite a few people in my social circle that I'd consider essential to the event and its culture have stated they will not attend due to the lack of any COVID precautions, announced in a blog post that was a bit tone deaf. That might factor in.
