Hey everyone, yesterday I saw this post (https://www.reddit.com/r/SideProject/comments/18g7d9a/my_little_job_board_now_has_500_mrr/) on the SideProject subreddit and got an idea:
What if I created a newsletter with remote jobs for devsops?
I already have experience running a job board (I run https://hrjobsremote.com/ since 2019) and I know how to easily find remote jobs - and I don't mean searching on Linkedin or other jobs boards, I have a process to scrape companies' career sites to find jobs. I also have a tangent with the devops market from a failed startup (a long time ago) with a product for testing devops skills (leetcode/hackerrank/codility for devops).
The added value (in my opinion) would be a list of curated (real remote) jobs that are delivered weekly to the inbox, without the hustle of searching for a few hours.
The target group should not be only the devops activity looking for a job, but only those looking for contract/freelancing roles or those who just want to stay connected to the job market.
I see this costing around 5$ / week (aka one coffee).
Is this something that you think could get traction? Any advice?
