Ukraine is only mentioned once, as part of a quote. If you're going to write about this topic, what's going on there deserves more attention. There's real world autonomous systems being used to both save and take lives. I'd also like to hear how the Ukrainians think about these autonomous systems, from both civilians and military personnel.

And when civilians do get slaughtered by an autonomous system, the subtext of the media treatment will be the usual: "Regrettable, even tragic, but... unavoidable. The exigencies of warfare."
