Sure it's absolutely fine showing the product but doesn't really show the problem it's solving. Perhaps a talking head for 10-20 seconds describing what a common problem this particular note-taking app solves. You don't have to rehash the video, or reedit it, but rather add more context on the front end. Before someone sees it they need to know what to care about.<p>And the good thing about this approach could be that you create 10 to 20 to 100 versions. You can use the same base video to show the product. Then add a bit of context and the problem, and see which videos do better on youtube via searches and impressions and views.
