Maggi noodles are ubiquitous in India. Two generations of Indian kids have grown up eating them and the ads aggressively targeted kids. Without the seasoning, the sodium in the noodles is ~220mg in your average serving, which is WAY more in line with acceptable ranges.<p>If you're eating them as a base for something else (like adding an egg or fish) and/or you have made your own broth or just use them sautéed, the sodium just isn't anywhere near the concern that the article states.
