Excited to share something I've been building recently called ReplyGuy. I made it to solve a personal pain with a SaaS product I built, which was that we were always monitoring Reddit and Twitter to see if anyone had mentioned keywords indicating they were looking for us. Before, we had to go manually respond to posts, often missing good mention opportunities.<p>Would love for HN folks to try it and let me know what you think!
Monitoring social media for sentiment and automatically replying seem useful for sure, but the examples given of AI bots writing ostensibly personal recommendations under the guise of regular accounts without disclosing that they're paid ads look super shady. Couldn't that be considered false advertising or some other kind of deceptive trade practice? I reckon the current FTC would be quite hostile to that.
