Twitter now X is full of blue check spam users (humans and bots) from India, Vietnam, Nigeria, Pakistan who spam absolute garbage under big accounts and get to the top of reply section.
I stopped visiting the site as it irritated me a lot.
Main problem is the executives at 'X' added monetization to blue check users in an automated fashion instead of manual verification. New accounts can easily get fake 500 followers and 5 million views by spamming nonsense subsequently earning more than $8 per month and getting a profit. The site right now is absolutely cooked (totally ruined).
To solve it, users should be able to get blue check for $8, but monetization should be manually enabled for accounts case by case basis. The main criteria should be the account does not spam, if violated the $8 (or $100) can be siezed by X thereby creating a financial enalty.

I created an account in 2012 or so but never used it, 0 followers, 0 followed. To this day I still receive daily "Your twitter confirmation code is" emails, I guess someone is still trying to get into it, probably to turn it into a bot account.
