I understand the main interest point being gaming and that perhaps leading to a lack of excitement, but I'm really excited about the immersive video. The idea of being anywhere and being able to watch a movie or show on a huge screen sounds amazing. Still, I wouldn't drop $3k+ to accomplish that. But, as mentioned in the post, it's still in its infancy stage. I like the comparison to the iPhone launch. It's true - I personally don't usually get products at their launch - with the exception being AirPods, and those were magical.
