I am watching this with pretty intense interest. I've long been alarmed at the potential for this to happen to any artist who speaks out against a streaming platform.

Benn Jordan aka The Flashbulb has been an outspoken critic of the music streaming business and today all traces of more than 15 of his releases have been removed from all platforms without explanation.

Can someone clarify what "TuneCore" is? It seems to be a sort of agent that manages your music IP in exchange for... I guess boosting access on the streaming services? I suppose small musicians don't do very well on Spotify if they release their stuff independently.
I am wondering what Apple/Spotify had to do with this directly (and Benn Jordan didn't seem to accuse them of direct involvement). It seems like it was TuneCore that retaliated, not the streaming companies themselves.
I am ignorant about the music business, but would probably agree the root cause of this mess is Apple/Spotify/etc allowing and encouraging scummy agents and managers because of their own opaque and unfair practices. Still, I think the title of the post should be amended to mention TuneCore directly. I got the impression that Spotify got mad at the composer and delisted his music, but that does not seem to be the case.
