With the current infrastructure and technologies (batteries & engines), it doesn't make sense to rely upon either technology entirely.<p>Most drivers would see the best performance, ecological, and financial benefits by driving a hybrid vehicle, whether in series or parallel -hybrid-drive configuration.<p>Full EVs should really only be purchased for performance or golf cart reasons... environmentally friendly <i>they are not</i>.
We're at the stage where the propagandists just repeat all the other propaganda as proof they were right.<p>And the manufactured reality seeps into unrelated stories. I saw a story on Bloomberg that explained the drop in price of lithium as due to the reduced sales of EVs.<p>No fudging about "reduced projections" or "slowing growth" just flat out stating an obvious lie, probably entirely unintentionally.<p>Just trying to bash out a story about lithium prices and haven't there been lots of headlines giving the impression that EV sales are down? And that's how propaganda works.
