I was wondering how people find information for vehicles online, what information do you value the most (safety ratings, consumer complaints, organic reviews, industry publications)?
For example, say your looking at a 2020 Hyundai Tucson with the highest trim package, what sources would you rely on for details about the trim package as well as other features? The first page of google results don't provide much information regarding what its actually like to own the car and live with it.
My main question is do you think there is room for improvement in the way we research vehicles? Would you see any value in a platform that aggregates all this info into a clean interface(summarize blog posts, highlight common consumer complaints, visualize market data)?
Thanks
UK-based ... I always look at https://car-recalls.eu - you would not believe the crap that manufacturers are selling/leasing these days. Check out the luxury brands! Bonus, I believe they have a US vehicles section now.
