How (and why) we brought SQLite to the Cloud

I hate that I cannot interface database-servers directly anymore, because everything needs a damn webservice to be usable in a cloud world. But quickly hacking something together just introduces new problems, not even speaking of sync issues.
So this seems quite compelling and probably makes sense for a lot of applications. Best of luck with your service.

The post says:
> Joined by Dr. Richard Hipp, creator of SQLite, we are building a distributed, scalable, high concurrency cloud database on top of 100% open source SQLite.
How exactly is Dr. Richard Hipp involved in this?

Is it a similar job to https://turso.tech/

No pricing info, at least not without signing-up?
