That's even doubly strange since even identical models should emit different answers (unless temperature is set to 0 which is almost never default?)

Does someone have more context as why this is so “insane”? Yes understandably there is randomness &#x2F; non-deterministic nature to these generative models. But what does this mean to you as user? What’s so compelling about this particular scenario? Maybe you discover that some apps are just wrappers around another API.<p>What’re some other angles to this that make this a good post for discussion?

Most likely it is a Claude Sonnet model being used for that conversation in a split test.
