The old Mac Plus had a screen resolution of 512x342. His screen is 512x384 (4:3), which is why there's that extra blank space at the bottom of 3D Checkers and Mac Paint. I think the Color Classic (1993) was the first compact Mac with a built-in screen to have a normal 4:3 resolution of 512x384.<p>But I guess I can let that one thing slide considering how incredible the rest of the build is!
I'm amazed how well everything bolts together. Must have spent ages in 3D modelling to get such perfect sub-assemblies. An amazing showcase of Kevin's expertise.
After having built a Voron and a couple other kit projects lately, I've fully converted over to threaded inserts in my designs, it adds one extra step but it feels so much better than trying to get a machine screw to bite without cracking the plastic, and it gives you a bit more margin if you accidently undersize your hole, or the plastic shrinks too much.
