For the initial example about rent, household income and personal income, to make sense of it all, don&#x27;t we also need to know income earners per household? Doesn&#x27;t that matter? Wouldn&#x27;t that possibly indicate underlying changes?<p>For example, in theory, previously one income could pay the rent, but as that one income lost pace with rent increases a second income is added to keep pace.<p>So the household is keeping up, but it&#x27;s taking more income earners to do so. That matters, yes?
