For the initial example about rent, household income and personal income, to make sense of it all, don't we also need to know income earners per household? Doesn't that matter? Wouldn't that possibly indicate underlying changes?<p>For example, in theory, previously one income could pay the rent, but as that one income lost pace with rent increases a second income is added to keep pace.<p>So the household is keeping up, but it's taking more income earners to do so. That matters, yes?
