"unhoused residents"... I mean don't tell me that if you treat people who do this with baby gloves that you are not asking for this. When your heart breaks for this kind of behavior, you are literally enabling it.<p>And sure, this is probably some tiny minority or some anomaly, but it's gotta start somewhere. Soon the tent cities will be a norm and people will have no parks or public places to go to, and they will be largely unregulated, and dangerously unhygienic places. This is pathological empathy because it's not like the problem is solved by letting people do whatever they want.
