Wellcome/GlaxoSmithKline experimented on children in care homes from the 30s to the 70s with state collusion in both Ireland and the UK, including experimental vaccines without consent. I learned about it after a colleague told me his mother, who was raised in a so called 'Mother and Baby Home' for single mothers, discovered she was a victim. GSK has refused to provide details to victims or contribute to compensation.

they used the scientific method to develop techniques to cause personality dissociation disorder. they were probably trying to make "better spies" ended up creating sexual slaves (if you subscribe to some conspiracies)
my point is twofold: this kind of evidence just puts wind in the sails of such kinds of conspiracies. if they are willing to do that...
the cherry on top (in cynical thinking) is once they're satisfied with the reliability of their techniques, they proceed to make them unethical so that other subgroups cannot develop such kinds of techniques
finally, an unrelated perspective. notice how I'm now subscribing and/or unsubscribing from this or that 'truth' or theory... it is truly a post-truth world at the moment
