We're building the world's first real-time Backend-as-a-Service. We launched one month ago, and we've just closed $1.4M in seed funding from Greylock, NEA, Flybridge, and prominent angels.<p>Now we're looking for the right top-notch dev to help us build the guts of our real-time infrastructure. You'll be our third employee, and you'll have a chance to have a serious impact on the product and culture of Firebase.<p>Requirements:<p>-Enthusiasm and willingness to work hard<p>-Good communication skills / ability to work as part of a team<p>-Strong algorithm design skills<p>-Experience with web technologies, networking, and big data solutions.<p>Nice-to-haves:<p>-Experience building large, distributed systems.<p>-Experience with real-time web technologies<p>-Intimate knowledge of the TCP stack.<p>-Experience with Javascript or Scala<p>-Operations / System Administration experience<p>-A portfolio of web or mobile apps you can show us.<p>What we offer:<p>-A chance to work with cutting-edge technology.
