&gt; The technology has to follow the legal requirements, not the other way around<p>I&#x27;mmmmm not entirely sure that this is The Right Way™. Initially this sounds right but then after some thinking one can see dozens of cases where this paradigm fails.

The complaint says:<p>&gt; Article 5(1)(d) GDPR imposes on the controller an obligation to erase or rectify without delay inaccurate data.<p>Article 5(1)(d) actually says personal data shall be:<p>&gt; accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date; every reasonable step must be taken to ensure that personal data that are inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which they are processed, are erased or rectified without delay (‘accuracy’);<p>It&#x27;s up to the court to determine whether &quot;every reasonable step&quot; has been taken.
