I'm in the anti-dairy camp. I feel like big dairy has weird controls over our society. Seeing school kids drink mediocre milk every day because it's integrated into their lunches is weird, especially when many of them say things that suggest they're lactose intolerant.
Some highlights I liked:
> Today, drinking milk can get you “milk-shamed” by people who think it’s disgusting. It’s particularly unpopular with younger people, who are grossed out by the milk served in schools.
> In rural areas that once thrived on milk production, such as upstate New York, abandoned small farms are now overgrown with trees, DuPuis observed. “Are we going to end up with fewer farms and more trees because of this latest problem? I can imagine so,” she said.
