I need a job. My contract with the Navy is ending soon, and it's reasonable to believe theres a good chance I may become homeless. Disability isn't going to pay the rent. Looking for work to help maintain a place to rent while I prepare to go to school at MIT in Boston. Remote/hybrid would be ideal, because I could start working immediately. Otherwise in-office, the Boston area is where I'm moving to.<p>I've spent the last 5 years as a Fire Control Technician on a nuclear submarine(not fire as in damage control, fire as in weapons/torpedo/missile systems). I have experience with sys admin, network admin, software and hardware troubleshooting on LAN-based networks and peripheral devices.<p>I have lots of experience with Bash, Python, SQL, HTML/CSS/JavaScript. I use Arch Linux as a daily driver but grew up on windows.
