Out of curiosity, what are real life examples of events or phenomena similar to code injection? The way many viruses work by making the cell produce their own DNA comes to mind. Also prompt injection is somewhere near that. But think of this far-fetched example: You commit murder using a binder folder, which ends up presented as evidence. When the judge is shown the binder, whatever he might read in it might alter his decision. It might be "exonerating" information, a threat, or a religious claim. Whatever that might free you by modifying his behaviour might be considerered a sort of injection through side-channels. A kid that writes "candy" in her mother's shopping list might work too.
"Omnibus bills" in a legislature. Where a politician can inject an unrelated law under the radar. There are also templated laws that are written by a corporation to its benefit and preswnted in different regions as though they are the propsals of local lawmakers (who are actually just presenting whatever they were given).<p>Espionage/agent saboteurs.<p>"Social engineering" whenever an attacker uses the appearance of authority to get members of a target organization to treat them as an inaider and perform the tasks the attacker directs them to do.
LOL I'd put prechecked boxes into injection too.<p>You see a social media post of something that's free - a 10 step ebook perhaps but then there are 55 checkboxes prechecked of $5 or $10 each lol<p>not so sneaky but injection nonetheless
