Feature Request: Pluggable GC for Ruby

One of the motivations is interesting<p>&gt; Experiment with modern high-performance GC implementations, such as Immix, G1, LXR etc<p>Can I today access a Ruby version with these implementations or do I have to recompile Ruby myself?
