Show HN: Canvas and chat UI for automating tasks

3 pointsby ntkrisabout 1 year ago
Hi community,
We’re excited to announce the launch of our automation platform: https://kili.so
LLMs will enable us to automate many repetitive tasks. We are passionate about bringing this tech to everyone through the right interface.
Conversational interfaces are great to think through problems, but don't cut it for complex tasks. Canvas' are great to think through complex tasks but can be difficult to wrangle with. We're combining the best of both. We want to ensure the interface is minimal and has the ability to support the user whenever they feel stuck.
A few technical notes for the community: - The canvas and the chat assistant share the same state. The assistant can zoom in and out of tasks. The assistant can also take actions (e.g. adding a step to a task) - There is an execution environment built in so you can test tasks from within the app - We support connections to other business apps and services. For now, these apps and services need to be “available” as an integration Kili. We expect to over come this and allow users to connect to any API of their choice. - Once your task is up and running, we make it easy to execute it via email, on a schedule or in bulk.
Our priorities for the next few weeks: 1. The product still feels technical. We are going to work on making it simpler. 2. We want the assistant to be even more proactive. For example, it should automatically propose how steps should be connected.
We're excited to see what you build and welcome any feedback you have!

This is interesting. Are there specific use cases for which it works really well?
