I find this very interesting and both correlative with respect to other defining crafts through history and portentous of how AI technology will enable only a fraction of the population (workforce). This is why I believe it is important to become a student and then master of AI starting now.<p>Other examples:
- Stone masons in medieval Europe was around <5%
- Literate clerics in the early Catholic church <5%
- Surveyors in the early 19th century <5%
- People with STEM degrees in the world actively working in a STEM field ~5%
