Wordle in legal row with geography spinoff, Worldle

IMO the NYT goes too far with its copyright/trademark claims. A few months ago several small-time amateur hobbyist Wordle-clone GitHub repositories were deleted due to NYT DMCA takedowns.

This kind of selfish behavior makes me want to stop playing Wordle.

I had to take down my wordle10.com website (a 10 letter version of Wordle).

The NYT is more lawyers than journalism at this point.

Maybe the NYT haven’t heared of Scrabble or Boggle?
