Sigh.<p>There's one thing though. "ample availability of Russian crude, which continues to maintain a price advantage over Riyadh’s oil" means the Russians are selling below their long-term cost, if rumors from friends in the oil business are to be believed. Russia does not produce at costs comparable to Saudi, and (this is rumor:) the only way to maintain such low prices is to skimp on maintenance. Skimp a bit to make sales possible at all, skimp more if profits are needed.
