Having a slow day, I found myself dumbscrolling Youtube Shorts and found something actually interesting.
https://www.youtube.com/shorts/KFs-sIMp89s
That was an unusual mechanical game! I have to know more. I quickly found the original creator Tim Hunkin and his Youtube channel, a hidden gem by itself.
https://www.youtube.com/@timhunkin1/videos
Featured his own video of the Divorce arcade machine.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BUe5FGIcYq8
with a blog post about the making of the machine, way more interesting than just play the game.
And some 'grisly themed' (as he said) machines like the PET OR MEAT machine
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_OGzD8PiO7k
https://www.timhunkin.com/a169_petormeat-writing.htm
Apparently inspired in some very old machines depicting executions for a coin.
I'm still getting into this rabbit hole.
