Yeah - no.<p>What is going to happen is company owners, shareholders, C-suite executives are going to consume those productivity gains.<p>And workers will be laid off where possible, and the remaining workers will be expected to deliver more output every single year ad Infinitum<p>Make no mistake, AI improvements will negatively affect every single worker. Workers do not get any benefits.<p>Before you say “but now I can code a website faster!” Yes, you can - but your pay won’t rise, and now the expectation has shifted to higher outputs.<p>We are all just rats on a wheel, and the wheel is getting faster.<p>“Utopia” - I invite you to look up the meaning.<p>Copilots are more dystopian than anything
