I have thought about making a &quot;collaboration contract&quot; with similar perspective.<p>some comments:<p>&gt; If for some reason I realize that during a communication thread, we are jumping on arguments with each other (or blaming each other). I will drop the communication right then and there. This is different from holding my position in a discussion. I will not engage in a conversation that is not productive. I will take a break and come back to it later.<p>disappearing quickly might not be seen&#x2F;understood well. I suggest saying something like, &quot;I need to take a few minutes to cool down&quot; before disappearing<p>&gt; tit-bits<p>generally the word is tidbits. I don&#x27;t know if a dialect has morphoned into tit-bits... but if you didn&#x27;t know, tit is a slang word for breasts in the US.
