Seems many of their problems could be due to the unsupported hardware. However, much of what is said is independent of that. I left Windows at version 8 for macOS.

Even as someone who writes programs <i>for</i> Windows, I am down to specific, purpose-use systems running Windows. Most of my systems are Mac, Linux, or BSD.<p>And especially with all the bloatware and spyware that comes built into Windows these days, I am slowly getting turned off by all that shite. A full install and configuration used to take me only a day’s worth of work, these days I am castrating “features” out of Windows and beating it into submission over a much longer setup time.
