Hi all, I am preparing to start my next venture this time I am thinking about not being the CEO myself, but instead contracting that position out.
I imagine the CEO I want to hire would focus on administrative tasks, compliance and cash flow while I handle the meat of the business (tech & sales).
From what I understand this would also allow me to compliantly setup the business in a different country than the country I live in.
I'm wondering who this CEO for hire would be in terms of skill profile and age and what the comp expectations would be.
Does anybody have experience with that scenario and can point me to resources?

Unless you've got experience in international corporation law, I'd recommend you get a LOT more sure about this - otherwise you could end up back here on HN posting "My external CEO stole my whole business, what now?"
Persons with CEO experience or at a level where their next career step is to CEO would be looking for a substantial salary and other benefits. Asking about compensation without being specific about geographic location and industry is unlikely to yield any useful information.
