Out of topic, may remove if not allowed.
I miss my university time not because of nostalgia, but because I didn't study properly to the extent I wish to. I didn't study at all tbh. Most of the times, I was spending on building websites using wordpress, writing content, promoting in reddit and what not.
Nowadays, I am regularly studying for 20 hrs per week along with job(I also study at job as my job is relaxed and low paying).
But when I look at the folks still in university, who're studying their ass off, it makes me feel weaker. I feel I've lost the race. It doesn't affect my day to day life at all. But I want to learn if there is anything I can do that can help me even further?
Your question appears to be directed at studying at university and afterwards.
Did you drop out? Can't you repeat and still graduate?
Aside from my questions, I suggest that comparing yourself to others is never a healthy option. You could set yourself a goal and work towards achieving it. I hope your current learning is well directed and you are increasing your knowledge and expertise in a lucrative field. Unless you work in a specialist field, skills and expertise are well regarded. Whether you have a degree or not is of lesser importance.
oh, but that's a good thing. They are younger and they "got it" while you didn't and apparently still don't. Stop wasting your attention on anything except work, studying and recovery, the latter being what is called "having a life", which often enough requires the same amount of recovery as work and studying do.
(I need more life for recovery and context myself)
The race is an infinite game. Just keep playing.
Ahh, welcome to the rat race.
As someone who made it in SV with no degree at all I will tell you that hard work and dedication means a lot. Its not what you did, its what your doing, what your going to keep doing.
>> building websites using wordpress, writing content, promoting in reddit and what not.
This is a whole set of skills your peers who studied didn't get. You just haven't figured out how to use them and/or what to add to them.
Its never to late to start learning, but once you start don't ever stop!
