Similarly to https://github.com/MicrosoftEdge/WebView2Feedback/issues/131... , I'm actually a bit confused - Edge is supported on Macs and Linux, Teams is apparently using this internally, so they're just... not packaging the thing they already support for anyone else to use?

In all seriousness, I would not have enjoyed being the person writing and posting this. It's very corporate, and I feel genuinely sorry for them.
> After careful consideration and review of our long-term product strategy
Check.
> to focus on providing the most value
Check.
> Thank you for being a valued member of this community and sharing your feedback.
Check.
> Your input is valuable as we continue to improve WebView2.
Uh huh.
> Thank you for your understanding!
I'm sorry for them. They must have known, reading that thread, the disappointment it would cause quite a few people.
(I'm not one of them. I just "enjoy" reading corporate messaging.)

Good! Instead of using bulky and slow web frameworks, it's time to build native applications again.
